Govt committed to protect waqf properties: Waqf Board Chairman

AP Waqf Board Chairman Abdul Aziz said on Monday that the state government is committed towards protection of Waqf properties and that the Chief Minister is constantly monitoring the process of digitization of those properties.

He stated that the process of digitization of more than 4,748 registered and unregistered Wadf properties in Andhra Pradesh has been slowed down due to the protests by Muthavallis, legal uncertainty and technical issues in the UMMEED portal of central government relates to waqf registration.
