Trump terminates protection status for Myanmar nationals

Trump administration has ended the ‘status of protection’ for the Myanmarese nationals living in the United States. The decision has been taken as Trump administration feels that Junta Military is set to hold democratic elections in the year end.
“The situation in Burma has improved enough that it is safe for Burmese citizens to return home," said Kristi Noem, Secretary of Homeland Security. On the contrary US State Department has advised Americans against travelling to Myanmmar.
