Tourism Takes Wings as Rajasthan Excels in Cleanliness Mission

Under Swachh Bharat Mission (Urban) 2.0, Rajasthan has set a new record in the field of cleanliness and urban management across the country.

Under the guidance of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the able leadership of Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma, the Rajasthan government is implementing schemes worth R 3 thousand 799 crore rupees in 233 urban bodies, which include various components like solid waste management, toilet construction, used water management, capacity building and public awareness. So far, 29 thousand 961 individual household toilets and 8 thousand 068 public toilets are being constructed in the state at a cost of 219 crore rupees, due to which lakhs of citizens of Rajasthan are getting facilities along with a clean environment. Obviously, this will give new wings to travel and tourism in the state. It is expected that now more tourists will come to the state than in other years.
