THE RISE OF WOMEN IN REAL ESTATE AND THEIR IMPACT ON THE FIELD

In the past decade or so, we have witnessed a remarkable surge in people’s involvement with real estate, surpassing all previous expectations. However, the most noteworthy development is the remarkable rise in the number of women who are making a mark in the real estate sector with their visionary approach and strong business acumen.

A collaborative survey conducted by NAREDO and JLL reveals that women currently constitute a mere 12% of the real estate workforce in India, however, this scenario is steadily changing as an increasing number of women are taking up various roles in the realty space. Armed with their unique perspectives, skills, and unwavering determination, women are shattering barriers and achieving remarkable success in the real estate market. As we embark upon an era of unparalleled economic prosperity, women are boldly forging ahead and establishing themselves as formidable leaders.

BREAKING BARRIERS AND SHATTERING STEREOTYPES

Throughout history, women have encountered an array of challenges when venturing into the realm of real estate. However, a notable shift has occurred, as an increasing number of women are defying conventional norms and rising to leadership positions. Their exuberance, perseverance and resilience have shattered stereotypes, opening more doors for more women to participate in this industry. Leveraging their distinctive perspectives and skill sets, women now occupy roles as brokers, agents, developers, architects, property managers, and investors.
