Tejashwi Yadav unveiled the Grand Alliance manifesto, pledging jobs, Rs 2,500 aid for women and free power for Bihar’s poor.
The Mahagathbandhan — the Grand Alliance comprising the Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD), Congress, Vikassheel Insaan Party (VIP) and Left parties — on Tuesday unveiled its joint manifesto for the 2025 Bihar Assembly elections, pledging sweeping welfare and employment measures under the banner “Bihar Ka Tejashwi Pran” or “Nyay ka Naya Patra” (A New Chapter of Justice).
Releasing the document in Patna, RJD leader and the alliance’s Chief Ministerial face Tejashwi Yadav called it a “guarantee of change and justice,” outlining employment, social equity and relief for farmers and workers as the coalition’s top priorities.
“We are presenting not just a list of promises, but a road-map of rights,” Yadav said, challenging the ruling NDA to declare its Chief Ministerial candidate and vision for the state.
