Second key aide of bomber in Red Fort blast case arrested

In a significant breakthrough in the Red Fort car blast investigation, the National Investigation Agency (NIA) has arrested Jasir Bilal Wani from Srinagar - a man officials describe as an “active co-conspirator” of suicide bomber Umar un Nabi. The blast, which shook the national capital on November 10, claimed 13 lives and exposed a dangerous terror network operating across several states.

Wani, a resident of Qazigund in Anantnag, had been providing technical support to the module. According to the NIA, he helped modify drones and even attempted to develop rockets in the months leading up to the attack. He was picked up by an NIA team in Srinagar after investigators gathered evidence of his close involvement with Umar un Nabi.
