Rakesh Tikait heckled at Muzaffarnagar rally

A protest rally turned tense in Muzaffarnagar on Friday when Bharatiya Kisan Union (BKU) spokesperson Rakesh Tikait was opposed and heckled by some people who allegedly participating in a protest against the Pahalgam terror attack.
The situation worsened when someone from the crowd reportedly tried to hit Tikait on the head with a flag and when Tikait took a step back his turban fell from the head. The police and BKU workers quickly intervened and escorted him out safely.
The rally called 'Jan Aakrosh Yatra' was organised at Town Hall Ground by around 168 Hindu organizations to protest against the Pahalgam terror attack, Murshidabad violence, and alleged forced migration of Hindus. Shops in the area were also shut in support of the rally.
