Prime Minister Narendra Modi is set to visit Maharashtra on 8-9 October 2025, during which he will inaugurate key infrastructure projects, engage with business leaders, and host the Prime Minister of the United Kingdom, Keir Starmer, who is on his first official visit to India.

On 8 October, PM Modi will arrive in Navi Mumbai and undertake a walk-through of the newly constructed Navi Mumbai International Airport (NMIA) at approximately 3 PM. At 3:30 PM, he will formally inaugurate the airport and dedicate various projects in Mumbai, addressing the gathering on the occasion.

Security has been beefed up in Mumbai and neighbouring Navi Mumbai ahead of Prime Minister Narendra Modis visit to inaugurate the Navi Mumbai International Airport on Wednesday, police officials said.
