PM Modi Lays Down New Doctrine on Counter Terror

Warning Pakistan fight is far from over, PM Modi said every inch of land where terror is bred remains within India's reach

In a firm and emotionally charged address to the nation on Monday night, Prime Minister Narendra Modi laid out India's renewed and uncompromising doctrine on terrorism, declaring the sweeping success of Operation Sindoor. The mission, he said, was not just a military victory but a tribute to the country's enduring strength—especially the strength of its women.

"For too long, Pakistan has exported terrorism while wearing the mask of victimhood. Today, that mask has been ripped apart," the Prime Minister said.

Speaking after a pause in military operations, Modi made it clear that India's actions were driven by both strategy and a deeper sense of justice: "This operation is not just about eliminating terror—it is about honouring the pain of those mothers, sisters, and daughters who watched their loved ones butchered in cold blood."

He did not mince words. "Pakistan tried to wipe the sindoor from the foreheads of Indian women. We have uprooted the very foundations of their terror factories." Taking that thought further, he declared, "Today, every terrorist and every terror organization has realized the consequences of trying to wipe the Sindoor from the foreheads of our sisters and daughters."
