Sequel to the 2012 hit OMG - Oh My God!, OMG 2 is a satirical comedy-drama film, featuring actor Akshay Kumar in an extended cameo. The film crossed the Rs 100 crore gross mark globally on Wednesday. The total domestic collection of the film now stands at around Rs 80 crore.

Although, the film lags behind in race with Gadar 2, which is anticipated to soon cross Rs 300 crore mark, the consistent upward trend in its earnings underscores the widespread appeal, making it a significant player in the current cinematic landscape.
The reasons for OMG 2 falling behind Gadar 2 are plenty. Receiving an A rating from the Central Board of Film Certification has also played a part in it as it restricted family audiences from visiting the theatres to watch the movie.
