The word “Navratri” itself means “nine nights,” during which the feminine energy of the universe, known as Shakti, is honored in her various forms—Durga, Lakshmi, and Saraswati.

2. Brahmacharini - The goddess of penance and austerity.

4. Kushmanda - The creator of the universe.

5. Skandamata - The nurturing mother of Kartikeya.

6. Katyayani - A fierce form who destroys evil.

7. Kalaratri - The remover of darkness and ignorance.

8. Mahagauri - Symbol of peace, purity, and tranquility.

9. Siddhidatri - The goddess who grants wisdom and spiritual power.
