Mercedes-Benz GLC: Diwali Dhamaka All Year Round!

Mercedes-Benz India has the largest portfolio of luxury vehicles in the country.
If I counted correctly, the company has around 30 vehicles on sale in India today. BMW India has around 24 while Audi India has just 12 models listed on their website.
In fact, if I am not wrong, Mercedes-Benz has more vehicles on sale than even most major volume players like Maruti, Hyundai, Kia, etc. That not only shows the German company's commitment to the Indian car market, but also goes a long way in ensuring that it maintains the top spot in luxury car sales in India.
And which Mercedes-Benz vehicle is the largest selling of them all, you ask? It's the GLC! Yes, contrary to what you might have thought, it's not the entry level models like the A-Class sedan or the GLA SUV, but the GLC that happens to be the SUV equivalent of the C-Class sedan.
The GLC is Mercedes-Benz's highest selling model globally too, but this story is about the reasons behind its success in India. Therefore, although I had reviewed the vehicle recently, I still went ahead and connected with people who deal in the entire portfolio of Mercedes-Benz cars day in and day out, including a few gentlemen from T&T Motors and Global Star Auto-two of Merc's best showrooms in New Delhi-for insights. I also talked to a few friends working at some of the finest luxury car garages in India and abroad to know their perspective as well.
Compiling everything together, including observations from my comprehensive drive review, I realised that there are essentially eight reasons why people choose the Mercedes-Benz GLC over everything else.
The biggest reason for all behind purchasing a Mercedes-Benz vehicle, including the GLC, remains the fact that it adorns the most recognized, respected, and powerful automotive logo in the world. It has to be-this company invented the automobile, dear sirs & ma'ams, and you can't argue with that.
