Melt-in-your-mouth chocolate babka with simple ingredients

Ingredients (Makes 2 Loaves) Dough • All-purpose flour -500 g • Sugar -50 g • Instant yeast -7 g • Salt -3 g • Warm milk -180 ml Eggs-2 large (100 g total without shell) Vanilla extract -5 ml • Unsalted butter (soft) -75 g Chocolate Filling • Unsalted butter -115 g • Dark chocolate -170 g • Cocoa powder-60 g • Sugar-100 g • Instant coffee (optional)-2 g Egg Wash (Optional)

• Sugar-100 g

• Water -120 ml

Method

1. Prepare the Dough

In a bowl, mix flour (500 g), sugar (50 g), yeast (7 g), and salt (3 g). Addmilk (180 ml), eggs (100 g), and vanilla (5 ml). Mix into a dough.

Add butter (75 g) gradually and knead 8-10 minutes until smooth and stretchy.
