Malviya Nagar Fire: Bajaj’s remand extended, cook sent to judicial custody

Delhi's Saket Court on Monday extended the police custody of hotel owner Lavkesh Bajaj by two more days in connection with the Malviya Nagar fire tragedy that claimed 22 lives.
Bajaj was produced before the Saket Court after completion of his earlier four-day police remand.
During the hearing, Delhi Police sought further custody, stating that the investigation was still underway. The court accepted the request and granted two more days of police remand.
In the same case, accused cook Keshav Negi was sent to 14 days of judicial custody. The court also rejected his bail plea.
