India Set to Host the 2025 World Para Athletics Championships

In a ground-breaking move for Indian sports, India will host the prestigious World Para Athletics (WPA) Championships for the very first time, from September 27 to October 5, 2025, at the iconic Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium in New Delhi.
This momentous occasion is set to bring over 2,500 athletes, officials, and dignitaries from more than 100 countries, marking the largest-ever para-sporting event in the country's history.
It will also stand as the most significant international sporting event since the 2010 Commonwealth Games.
The WPA Championships are the premier global event for para-athletics, held every two years, and offer a stage for Paralympic legends, world champions, and elite athletes to compete for the highest honours.
