'Hunt down every culprit': Shah hands over probe to NIA

FSL to closely examine the materials recovered from the charred vehicle and match the forensic samples collected from the site.

The Home Minister emphasised the need for a swift, coordinated investigation to determine the nature of the explosives used and to identify those responsible for the attack.

“Chairing a high-level review meeting a day after the Delhi car blast, Union Home Minister Amit Shah decided to hand over the probe to the NIA. The agency was instructed to investigate and submit its report at the earliest. The Forensic Science Laboratory was also directed to match and analyse the samples collected from the blast site and the bodies recovered from the car,” said sources.

Shah further instructed security agencies to “hunt down each and every culprit” involved in the attack, warning that those responsible “will face the full wrath of our agencies.”
