High Court Extended Interim Protection To Advocate Booked Over Fact-Finding Mission: Manipur Violence

The Manipur High Court in the case Deeksha Dwivedi v. State Of Manipur And Ors observed and has issued notice on a writ petition moved by Advocate Diksha Dwivedi, against whom an FIR was lodged after she took part in a fact-finding mission with regards to the Manipur violence.

Therefore, she in the case was booked for Sedition, Conspiracy to wage war against India, etc.
However, Dwivedi had earlier moved the Supreme Court, wherein the court granted an interim protection from arrest and liberty to approach the High Court.
