Bangladesh's former prime minister has received a death sentence for the crimes against humanity as quoted by the International Crimes Tribunal related to her suppression of student-led protests that resulted in her removal from office. Sheikh Hasina was convicted of permitting the use of deadly force against demonstrators, with 1400 fatalities reported during the turmoil last year.
