ED flags fake summons and 'digital arrest', rolls out verification system

The Enforcement Directorate (ED) has sounded an alarm over a surge in fake summons and fraudulent “digital arrest” attempts, warning citizens to be vigilant against scammers impersonating agency officials to cheat or extort money.
