Delhi Cong accuses BJP, AAP of disrupting assembly to mask failures
The Daily Guardian
|January 08, 2026
The Delhi Congress on Wednesday launched a scathing attack on both the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP), accusing them of deliberately wasting the ongoing winter session of the Delhi Assembly to evade accountability on pressing public issues.
Delhi Congress chief Devender Yadav said that continuous disruptions in the House for the third consecutive day exposed the "real intention and attitude" of both parties, who, he alleged, were more interested in petty political fights than discussing problems affecting the people of the national capital. He claimed that repeated adjournments and ruckus in the House had led to a waste of taxpayers' money.
