L Rahul rose to the occasion with a scintillating unbeaten 93 as Delhi Capitals (DC) romped home with a six-wicket win over Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) in their IPL 2025 clash at the Arun Jaitley Stadium on Thursday. Chasing 164, DC overcame early jitters to notch up their fourth consecutive victory in the tournament.
RCB, put in to bat, posted a seemingly competitive 163/7 on the back of a whirlwind start by Phil Salt. The Englishman blasted 37 off just 17 balls, propelling the visitors to 53/0 in just three overs. But Salt's run-out—thanks to a sharp effort from Rahul—opened the floodgates, as RCB's innings unraveled under pressure from DC's spinners.
