Congress to gherao ED offices over Hindenburg report

The Congress party will hold a nationwide protest across the country and ‘gherao’ the Enforcement Directorate’s office over the fresh allegations mentioned by the Hindenburg Reasearch report, party leaders said on Tuesday.

The decision was taken at the meeting convened on Tuesday at the party headquarters by Congress chief Mallikarjun Kharge and attended by Leader of Opposition in Lok Sabha Rahul Gandhi.

Besides Rahul Gandhi, a total of 56 leaders including party’s general secretaries, incharge of states, and state unit chiefs attended the meeting.

Addressing a press conference at the party headquarters here after the meeting, Congress General Secretary (organisation) and MP, KC Venugopal said, “During the meeting a detailed discussion was held on Hindenburg Research report, as it is one of the biggest scam happening in the country.
