The festival opened on December 23 with three exceptional plays that set the tone for the days ahead.
Asmanjas Babu, written by Satyajit Ray and directed by Utpal Jha, explored moral dilemmas with nuance and depth.
This was followed by Aakhiri Hila, written by Munshi Premchand and directed by Durga Sharma, which brought to life the poignant storytelling of one of India's literary legends.
