Amit Malviya raps Bangladesh interim govt over Hindu driver's killing

Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader Amit Malviya on Tuesday launched a sharp attack on Bangladesh's interim government, alleging sustained attacks on religious minorities and claiming that "minority lives do not matter" under the present administration.

In a post on X, Malviya accused the interim authorities of failing to protect Hindus and other religious minorities, including Christians and Buddhists, and alleged that no concrete action had been taken against those responsible. He also said the government had offered neither reassurance nor comfort to affected communities.

"The interim government has done nothing to rein in the tormentors of Hindus and other religious minorities, including Christians and Buddhists. It has not even offered a word of solace. Instead, the individual at the helm has dismissed these targeted attacks as 'fiction'.

The message is deeply chilling," Malviya wrote.
