AAP to file complaint against Delhi LG over installation of 'Shivaling-shaped fountains

The Aam Aadmi Party is to file a police complaint against Delhi Lieutenant Governor Vinai Kumar Saxena, alleging that the latter has disrespected the sentiments of the Hindus by installing 18 'Shivaling' (a representation of Lord Shiva), shaped fountains in the national capital with the purpose of beautifying and decorating ahead of the G20 summit, said the AAP sources on Friday.

An AAP MLA is scheduled to meet with the Special CP (Law and Order). Sources added that this meeting is related to numerous social media posts on platform X (formerly known as Twitter) concerning the placement of Shivalings in various locations across the national capital.
