DETERMINED athletes were put through their paces as they faced the Rosemullion 10k, the fifth fixture in this year's multi-terrain race series (MTRS).
The off-road challenge saw 29 members of the Hayle Runners navigate the undulating route in and around Mawnan Smith, taking in rugged coastal paths around Rosemullion Head and the mouth of the Helford River.
