A MAN who fractured his stepfather's skull when he “repeatedly punched” him in a violent outburst on Christmas Eve has received a suspended prison sentence.

Brett Collier, 51, was arguing with his mother at her home on December 24, 2023, and her husband stepped in to defend her.
Collier, of St Erth, appeared at Truro Crown Court for sentencing on Wednesday, January 14, having previously pleaded guilty to a charge of wounding or inflicting grievous bodily harm without intent.
