FORM: POPULAR JOCKEY HAS RIDDEN FIVE WINNERS IN THE FIRST TWO DAYS OF THE WEEK

- Muzi Yeni

Travelling Muzi is on a roll

This week has had a really good start for me and it all began at Hollywoodbets Kenilworth on Monday where I picked up some great opportunities from champion trainer Justin Snaith.

It was certainly worth my while to travel to the Cape for that meeting as I came away with three winners and three second places.

Then we came back to the Vaal on Tuesday where I rode another two winners.

Racing on Saturday takes place at Turffontein on the Standside track where we have an eight-race card to preview.

The headliner on the card is Race 7, a MR 93 Handicap over 1400m.

After all the success hopping around the country, I will be back at Turffontein for six rides on this card, and I'll be hoping to continue my lovely run of form.

The reason I have not got a ride in all the races is that two of them are reserved for apprentice riders.

I also want to wish all our readers a very blessed Easter and may you have a peaceful and joyous weekend.

Race 1 at Turffontein is a Maiden Juvenile Plate for fillies over 1000m and I ride Versace Onthetrack who is a nicely bred unraced horse and I'll be hoping for a good run but as is always the case with unraced horses it is essential to watch the betting and the canter past because this will be your best guide to their chances.

Of the raced runners, Far Beyond sets the standard by some way and will take all the beating if there is nothing special from the unraced horses.

Her debut run was really positive and with the expected natural improvement, she should prove hard to beat.

Queen's Pact was disappointing last time out after a good second run, and if she returns to the form of her penultimate run, then she'll be right there.

Race 2 is a Maiden Juvenile Plate over 1000m and I ride Raceway who is another well-bred unraced horse and once again I'll be hoping for a good run but again, follow the betting and canter past to guide you on their chances.
