An Australian police officer was found guilty yesterday of the manslaughter of a 95-year-old woman, who died from injuries sustained when he tasered her during a nursing home confrontation.

Senior constable Kristian White was called to the nursing home in May 2023 as Clare Nowland - who displayed symptoms of dementia - slowly roamed the halls with a steak knife.
