Improve your matric results

Here are some steps the Class of 2025 can take to improve some matric marks they may not agree with.

► Remark or recheck exam scripts: If you believe your marks are incorrect, you can apply for your exam papers to be remarked or rechecked by an examiner.

► Supplementary examinations: Candidates who require a maximum of two subjects to obtain their National Senior Certificate (NSC) or meet university entrance requirements may qualify to write supplementary exams (also known as the "Second-chance matric programme").

► Repeat the year: If you are under 21 years old, you can re-enrol at a high school to repeat your Grade 12 year. This allows you to attend classes and benefit from structured learning and teacher support.
