Fourie set for good weekend in the Cape

Woman Of Power has been extremely unlucky of late but her supporters should be able to get back any losses when she lines up in Race 3, a MR 82 Handicap for fillies and mares over 1200m on the Polytrack at Fairview.

The four-year-old filly has won two of her 14 starts, both on the turf, but recently joined Alan Greeff's yard.

He immediately tried her on the Polytrack and after a sustained battle with Gavin Smith-trained Montelena there was nothing between them at the post. There was some interference caused to Montelena and the stipes awarded the race to her after a successful objection.
