Glorious Goodwood is Britain's next summer festival of note, with five days of superb racing against the stunning backdrop of the Sussex Downs.
-
The Goodwood Cup, the Sussex Stakes, Nassau Stakes and the famous Steward's Cup Handicap are all key races at Glorious Goodwood.
The first three days, from tomorrow until Thursday, are all Hong Kong World Pool betting events so punters can bet into massive international pools.
Here's more on the 2025 Glorious Goodwood Festival, which takes place from tomorrow until Saturday 2 August.
About Goodwood Situated on the picturesque South Downs, high above the English south-coast town of Chichester, Goodwood is widely regarded as one of Britain's most beautiful racecourses, looking outwards towards the Channel.
The track itself is unique in more ways than one and the switchback nature of the course can often mean horses with previous experience and/or a good record at the venue benefit.
Glorious Goodwood has long been the midsummer highlight of the racing calendar in Britain. It follows hot on the heels of other major fixtures like Cheltenham Festival, offering fans another iconic experience in the racing season.
The track itself is right-handed with two bends. All races up to 2000m, and in excess of 2200m use the top bend.
There is also a 1000m straight course, regarded among the fastest 1000m in the world.
Goodwood is full of undulations and can be tricky in nature, a turn of foot is almost essential and some luck in running is often needed too, with big-field races tending to witness plenty of bad luck in-running and traffic woes.

Trainers to watch It was another fine weekend for Ballydoyle, as leading Irish trainer Aidan O'Brien saw his filly Minnie Hauk complete an Oaks hat-trick at The Curragh.
Her Irish Oaks victory added to her wins in the Chester and Epsom equivalents, making her the first horse to win both the Epsom and Irish Oaks since Snowplay - also trained by O'Brien - in 2021.
