|April 17, 2026
Kaizer Chiefs co-coach Khalil Ben Youssef was delighted to see Khanyisa Mayo (below) ending his goal drought during Amakhosi’s emphatic victory over Magesi FC.
Mayo, who has been battling with injuries throughout the season, scored his second goal as Amakhosi walloped bottom-placed Magesi 4-1 at the Peter Mokaba Stadium in Polokwane on Wednesday night.
The win saw Chiefs consolidate their third-place position with 45 points from 23 matches. Amakhosi are now 10 points behind second-placed Orlando Pirates and still have a game in hand over the Buccaneers.
