Team need confidence boost ahead of play-offs

IT’S interesting that head coach Regis Le Bris has asked his Sunderland players to switch into play-off mode.

Some would argue they already have.

Knowing you are going to finish fourth with so many games to play is not conducive to finishing the regular season strongly.

Making seven changes to the starting line-up is bound to have an effect too as was the case on Monday against Blackburn Rovers.

A third straight defeat and yet another game without a goal has come at a time when the team really needs to find its energy again.
