FORMER Premier League referee Dermot Gallagher has broken ranks to say the Magpies should've been awarded a penalty for a challenge on Anthony Gordon during their draw with Chelsea over the weekend.

- By LUKE THROWER

Newcastle endured a topsy-turvy clash, which saw them take a two-goal lead before throwing it away in the second half, having to settle for a draw. One of the turning points in the match was a decision for referee Andy Madley not to award a penalty when Gordon was brought to ground by Trevoh Chalobah.
