TAKE
at fans at Our Price, Newcastle, September 1992
That will be returning to the North East for a giant show at Sunderland's Stadium of Light next summer. The all-singing, all-dancing boy band have graced the region's stages numerous times over the past three decades - but unseen photographs from our archives recall one early low-key performance that has largely been forgotten.
The date was September 9, 1992, and the location was Our Price Records in Newcastle's Eldon Square Shopping Centre.
A youthful Take That were taking the first step on the ladder to fame and fortune at the time and making a promotional appearance at the popular music store, which would later close in 2004.
