No fears for The Stan in quest for Park Avenue redemption

HEATON Stannington manager Dean Nicholson feels his players hold no fears when they go to East Division promotion contenders Bradford Park Avenue.

The Stan are on a six-game unbeaten run after securing seven points from a trio of all-North East affairs with Blyth Spartans, Bishop Auckland and Newton Aycliffe over the last fortnight and that has taken them to within a point of the top eight.

The size of the task facing them against Park Avenue needs no explaining to Nicholson and his players after they suffered a narrow FA Trophy loss against the same opposition earlier this month.
