Magpies given green light to keep spending

Newcastle head coach Eddie Howe wants to add at least two more senior signings to the ranks as he looks to equip the Magpies for a season in the Champions League. Howe is aiming to bring in James Trafford from Burnley and a centre-back as senior additions, while younger forwards are being considered in the aftermath of Callum Wilson's exit. Atalanta’s Giorgio Scalvini remains a top target with Newcastle working tirelessly to build up data on the Italy international in the past few windows.
