Magpies and Cats to face top-flight opposition in FA Cup

NEWCASTLE United and Sunderland have both been handed tricky-looking ties in the third round of the FA Cup.

The Magpies will entertain Eddie Howe's old club Bournemouth at St James' Park, while the Black Cats will travel to Everton in two of four all-Premier League clashes.

The other two top-tier ties see Aston Villa travel to Tottenham, and Manchester United host Brighton.

Cup holders Crystal Palace have been handed a trip to sixth-tier Macclesfield - one of four non-league clubs remaining at the time the draw was made yesterday.
