Job at circus 'saved my life'

NEWCASTLE MAN TRAVELS THE UK AS PART OF CIRCUS VEGAS - AND HE COULDN'T BE HAPPIER
A GEORDIE who says he is living the dream as part of a travelling circus has credited the experience for “saving his life”.
Lee Downs, 43, grew up in Blakelaw, Newcastle, but he now travels as part of Circus Vegas - and he couldn’t be happier.
His role is front of house, something which allows him to greet and interact with guests, laugh and joke with them, and look after them for the duration of the show.
Lee sees the circus as somewhere people can create memories - something he is very passionate about.
He said: "One of the best things about Circus Vegas is the way we make everyone feel welcome, including the performers and guests who come to watch the shows.
