A TYNESIDE woman has been left feeling “physically sick” at her own home following a burglary.
Sarah Grundy King, 70, saw her Denton home broken into through a garage door and sentimental items jewellery of stolen.
But months on she feels ill and unsafe if she has to return.
The burglary took place on May 17 when she had gone to stay with her sister in Gateshead for a few days.
Sarah said since then she struggled to even set foot in the house and feared she would be homeless.
Instead she had been staying with her sister - until disaster struck when a driver crashed a car into her sister’s house.
Sarah's sister then had a health scare - and she was forced to stay with another friend. Since, her sister has recovered and her home has been made safe.
