Friends and family's fundraising run in memory of ‘lovely' teen

A fundraising event for the family of Layton Carr took place at the weekend.

Layton, 14, died after a fire in an industrial estate in the Bill Quay area of Gateshead. On Saturday, he was honoured with the gathering of around 90 people, who took part in a 1.5 mile run.
