FA CUP THIRD QUALIFYING ROUND

Dunston ready to face qualifier clash challenge

(CALLUM PATTISON)

DUNSTON UTS will hope to land a place in the fourth qualifying round for only the third time in their history when they host Northern Premier League Premier Division side Gainsborough Trinity tomorrow.

Jon McDonald’s side have already seen off Kendal Town, Thornaby and Stocksbridge Park Steels to move within 180 minutes of a potential first round place and will face a sizeable test when they host higher level opposition once again this weekend.

Their visitors are currently fourth in the NPL Premier Division table.

Far from being daunted, McDonald is relishing the challenge that lies in wait for him and his players as they look to created history at the UTS Stadium.
