Cocaine dealer caught with drugs worth £2m

A DRUG dealer has been jailed after cocaine worth an estimated £2m was found in his car during a police stop in Newcastle.
Officers stopped a white Vauxhall Corsa at around 2pm on February 3 in a car park on Edgefield Avenue in the Fawdon area of the city.
Richard French was arrested, and a search of the vehicle uncovered 20 one-kilo blocks of the class A drug, which had an estimated street value of £2m. The 36-year-old was charged with possession of cocaine with intent to supply.
