NEWCASTLE United icon Alan Shearer has predicted Sunderland will be relegated next May.

As the Black Cats prepare for their Premier League return after an absence of eight years, they have smashed their transfer record and brought in eight new players so far with the promise of more to follow.

But Shearer remains unimpressed although he does think Regis Le Bris’ side will finish above Burnley, who he ranks bottom.
