THESE parents had the best start imaginable to 2026 with the birth of healthy babies.
Baby Chimamanda with parents Juliet Iroka and Henry Abaleke
Juliet Iroka and Henry Abaleke were just 90 minutes into the year when they welcomed their first child, Chimamanda, at the Royal Victoria Infirmary.
Juliet told The Chronicle: "She's healthy and happy, and it's great because she came on our due date. I don't think we'll get her home today but certainly before the weekend."
Chimamanda weighed 7lb 2oz on arrival.
Healthcare support worker Juliet added: "Henry is very happy, he will be a great dad."
