Alan Carr and Amanda Holden start another foreign property project, but planning issues and the loss of a trusted helper could spell disaster
-
DOING up a property is sheer hard graft. Or so I'm told. I must confess I wouldn't know. Not because it is something I'm allergic to, or anything that pathetic. I'm just not a fan.
So I do have some respect for best friends Amanda Holden and Alan Carr, who've already done up a couple of dilapidated homes together in Italy and Spain, as documented on their merry makeover shows for the BBC.
I say "some" respect because obviously they haven't done all this work unaided. They've had lots and lots (and lots) of help from people who know what they're doing, most notably their regular builder chum Scott.
