SHELTER REACHES MILESTONE
David and Felix were rehomed by Cats' Protection's Tyneside centre
STAFF at a Tyneside shelter are celebrating rehoming 3,000 cats since opening seven years ago.
Moggies David and Felix were adopted by two families within minutes of each other to take the total number of cats rehomed by Cats' Protection's Tyneside Cat Centre in Felling to 3,000 since 2018.
Both are now settling into their new homes, with three-year-old former stray Felix going home with the Hardy family from Hexham and five-month-old kitten David catching the eye of the Pitchford family from Bedlington.
