When the soul of India reaches Aotearoa: The confluence of two countries in the 'World and Us' festival

This August, a new chapter will be written across the ocean, when the World and Us: Indian Festival New Zealand Chapter 2025 will hoist its cultural flag in Auckland, Hamilton and Whangarei between 14-18 August 2025.
CD Foundation, in partnership with the High Commission of India, Wellington and the Consulate General of India, Auckland, is taking the spirit of India's 79th Independence Day to the heart of Aotearoa New Zealand. This festival will become a bridge connecting continents, cultures and communities, a meeting of two tribal heritages for the first time, the tribal cultural heritage of Telangana and the ancient traditions of the Maori will be seen on the same platform.
