Two planes take off in quick succession on same runway; DGCA takes action

India's aviation watchdog, the Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA), is investigating an incident at Mumbai airport where an IndiGo plane landed while an Air India aircraft took off from the same runway within less than a minute.

Following the incident, the ATC (Air Traffic Controller) on duty during the time of the occurrence has been deroastered by the DGCA. Both IndiGo and Air India have launched internal investigations into the matter.
A video capturing the moment of one plane landing and another taking off from the same runway has circulated on social media platforms.
